Farewell Alissa, Welcome Jessica
September 6th marked Alissa Whelan’s final day with the Warren Wilson MFA office staff. Alissa joined us just prior to the Program’s 30th anniversary gala, and has been with us for six years, initially as office manager and most recently as project manager/ web manager. We’re grateful for the central role she played in the development of the digital archives project and the new website, and generally for her ebullient care and tending of our students and faculty over the years. We’ll miss her, but we’re also excited for what’s ahead as she devotes herself full-time to her extraordinary photography. Alissa can now be reached at [email protected].

Or, as we most often see her, behind her ever-observant camera lens
Jessica Lane stepped into the project manager/ web manager position on September 7th. Jessica holds a B.A. in English Literature from Randolph-Macon Woman’s College and an M.A. from Brown in American Civilization and Museum Studies. She brings a wide range of valuable experience and skills to the position, as well as abundant warmth, good humor, and energy. We look forward to having her join our MFA family, and to introducing her in person at the January residency. You can reach Jessica at [email protected].
