Alumni Updates

Krys Lee (fiction, ’08): Krys’ short story “The Goose Father” was shortlisted for the BBC International Short Story Award.  The story is from her new book, Drifting House (2012, Penguin), which is due out in paperback December 24th.

Krys recently participated in a number of literary festivals, including the Edinburgh International Book Festival (with Nell Freudenberger), the Ubud Writers and Readers Festival (including a panel with Chang-rae Lee), the Hong Kong Literary Festival and the Singapore Literary Festival (including panels with Monique Truong and Shin-kyung Sook).  She will soon be attending the Galle Literary Festival in Sri Lanka.
