Sillage de la Reine
Rhizomes from a Tuscan iris
cured five years, jasmine,
orange blossom, tuberose,
(bergamot to lighten the head),
perfect blend for a lover
of gardens and soft intensity,
petals’ sticky uncurling
in sunshine’s glaze.
