The Holden Fund for Diversity

The Holden Fund for Diversity provides three scholarships to the MFA Program at Warren Wilson College in support of students of color.

The Holden Scholarship: Inaugurated in 1995, the prestigious Holden Scholarship fully funds four semesters of study, covering all tuition and fees. Up to three Holden Scholarships can be awarded at any given time.
Holden Opportunity Grants: Holden Opportunity Grants are non-renewable single-semester scholarships which cover the residency fee for eligible students of color.
The Holden Residency Scholarship: This single-residency scholarship covers tuition and residency fees for a writer of color in either genre who wishes to gain a fuller sense of the low-residency MFA experience. No graduate credit is issued, but the student is a full participant in the ten day residency.
