Beverly Bie Brahic’s (poetry 06) chapbook Catch and Release won the Wigtown (Scotland) Book Festival Alastair Reid Pamphlet Prize. The prize, which celebrates the Scottish writer Alastair Reid, is the publication of a pamphlet set by Scottish poet and publisher (Dark Horse magazine) Gerry Cambridge.
Dilruba Ahmed’s (poetry 09) poem, “Phase One,” was selected by Major Jackson for inclusion in BEST AMERICAN POETRY 2019. The poem originally appeared in ASIAN AMERICAN LITERARY REVIEW.
Elisabeth Hamilton’s (fiction 13) story, “People’s Party,” appears in the recent triple issue (winter, spring, summer 2019) of Cimarron Review.
